The rear suspension is quite an easy adjustment. The springs are each held by 2 chromed "rings". The bottom one has a hole in it.
Stick as large a metal bar as possible in this hole and turn the whole ring.
Looking from above it's clockwise to stiffen the suspension, I believe (I don't have my bike in the office!).
If you look from below you can see the steps of the adjuster.
(I've been in Switzerland too long!! I can't speak English any more!!!)
The oil level window has two marks - Max and Min.
First warm up the engine, then leave it to settle about two minutes.
When holding the bike vertical the oil level should be at max.
I have always and only been into choppers and I *love* this bike!
